Shanna Moakler is “very excited” for her ex-husband Travis Barker and his new wife Kourtney Kardashian after the couple announced they are expecting their first child together.
Moakler, who was married to Barker from 2004 to 2008, shared her reaction to the news on Instagram on Tuesday. “Very excited for them,” she wrote in a comment on a post shared by Barker. “Hope they have a great experience bringing in a new life to the world.”
Moakler, 46, also revealed that she has known about Kourtney’s pregnancy for “weeks.” “I’ve known for weeks,” she wrote in a comment on another post. “This is not new news to me.”
Kourtney, 43, and Barker, 46, confirmed their pregnancy on Instagram on Monday. The couple shared a photo of Kourtney holding a positive pregnancy test with the caption, “So happy, can’t wait to meet you.”
Kourtney and Barker have been dating since 2020. They got engaged in October 2021.
This will be the first child for Kourtney and Barker. Barker has two children from a previous marriage, Landon, 18, and Alabama, 16. Kourtney has three children from her previous marriage to Scott Disick, Mason, 12, Penelope, 9, and Reign, 7.
Kourtney and Barker have been open about their desire to have children together. In a recent interview with People magazine, Kourtney said that she and Barker are “very excited” to start a family together. “We’re really excited,” she said. “We’ve been trying for a while.”
Kourtney and Barker have not yet revealed the due date for their baby. However, Kourtney has said that she is hoping to give birth in the fall.
