According to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office, two persons were murdered and three others were injured in a shooting at the campsites surrounding Washington’s Gorge Amphitheatre on Saturday night at the Beyond Wonderland electronic dance music event.
The Sheriff’s Office claimed in a Facebook post that the incident happened at 8:25 p.m. in a campsite close to George. All of the victims and the suspected gunman were festival-goers, officials said.
Law enforcement officials apprehended the gunman, and the three injured people were transferred to nearby hospitals for treatment. The identities of the two victims remain unknown.
